CARRIE METZ-CAPORUSSO

Carrie Metz-Caporusso has always been involved in artistic pursuits, but they didn't become a tattooer until they met their partner, Tony, in 2011. They worked together at Lucky Monkey Tattoo Parlor in Ann Arbor, MI for many years. Starting in May 2022, Carrie has moved across town and joined the team at Three Bird Tattoo in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

While Carrie works exclusively in black ink, their unique style creates tattoos from whimsical scenery to dainty pattern work. They are committed to creating original designs that are only tattooed on a single person. With Tony's help, Carrie's passion for their art revealed their dedication of organizing and participating in yearly tattooing fundraisers. Carrie has a lifetime goal of raising a million dollars for Charity. As a non-binary person, Carrie knows the importance of creating a safe space for all people to feel comfortable in, so as they practice their art, Carrie strives to make all feel welcome.
